I just finished [灰]{はい}[羽]{ばね}[連]{れん}[盟]{めい} Haibane Renmei a couple weeks ago. The story and soundtrack are really a masterpiece, so decided to do a challenge of the ED.
When doing the formatting I noticed an interesting choice on spelling for あおい. It is written 蒼い rather than 青い. Apparently, 蒼 gives the extra meanings of being unripe or inexperienced (e.g. green recruit) or pale in the face. Knowing context, this is quite fitting. It was interesting so I thought I'd mention it.
